Air by ReceptionAudio is built around one question: how can programming tempo feel like conducting? You conduct a MIDI cue live with a mouse or trackpad, Air plays it into your DAW, and the performance comes out as a tempo map. It's an evolution of the original idea I had in 2014 with Air Conductor.
Air builds on more than 10 years of work in real-time conducting and beat-following algorithms, including research cited by the University of Technology Sydney.
